BTW, this may be the last installment of my slide-shows, at least for a while. I want to get back to sewing! And I'm pretty much finished with the overhaul to my blog, so now I can just sew and write.

ReplyDeleteOn your 12 patch quilt and your circle quilt do you quilt the squares as you go and then add the sashing? I tried this on one project but didn't quite achieve the result I wanted.

Believe it or not, I did not know about quilt-as-you-go when I made these quilts! I cut sashes with cornerstones, and had the whole quilt top in one piece to do the quilting. I would still probably do it that way, even though I took a class to quilt-as-you-go. Somehow I like to have the whole top put together before I move on to quilting it.
